Hi All,

I am new to the community and keen to get started.  Unfortunately (or fortunately however you see it) I have got a Macbook air and am a first time user so getting my head around terminal is doing me in.  When I use pip ecosynth it can't find the package.  Any experts able to help?  As a reward once we get started I can add data for South East Queensland Australia....

Thanks

Wes

Hi All,

Solved it - Macbook was 64 bit so the pip install wasn't grabbing the right installation package.

Solution - install Python 2.7 from the python site using the 64 bit version rather then the package install

Now just to finalise some of the python issues relating to the headers.....

Thanks
Wes

Wes,

If you are still hitting issues with your local install, we now have a publicly available AWS image you can mirror. You can find the relevant blog post here.
