Hey all.Right now I'm repairing from the latest crash and need to seek some advice about motors.  I had wobbly propellers which were causing a lot of vibration and making navigation difficult if not impossible.  So I replaced the housings on all the motors, meaning they've all got straight shafts now.  However definitely two, maybe three of the motors still vibrate pretty badly, and the propellers are wobbly.  Since the shaft is brand new, I'm assuming the problem comes from the motor itself.…See More

Arducopter hexa test flight

Hi all.  Great to see your success with the arducopter octo!  Hopefully things will work out as well with the hexa kit I've just put together.

After an initial flight there are some issues, the main one being GPS functionality.  After a long day of troubleshooting I learned that apparently my RC receiver can't be placed too close to the GPS, or the GPS will fail to lock a signal.

My next steps are to confirm the GPS is working, learn how to use the ground station, get a camera…
